Its a simple example to show the basic functionalities of ISE. The simulation is built from scratch in a few minutes,demonstrating the steps described on the last pages.
A Thermoelectric plant:
This example shows a thermoelectric plant . The diagram has several points of energy integration and some case studies are performed to evaluate the impact of some parameters on the process.
An offshore natural gas process:
Here we have a simulation of an offshore process to get a purified natural gas from an income mixture of several alkanes and water. It is necessary a three phase equilibrium separation and a gas washing with triethylene glycol.
Ammonia synthesis process:
Here we show a little more of ISE's features including some more equipments from the Process Engineering library. The process also has some recycles and we show hos simple it is to check the impact of it on the quality of the product.
