ImageIn order to develop rigorous models for the chemical and petrochemical industry it is necessary to know thermodynamic and physical properties of mixtures.

The data needed by the models for property prediction are dificult to find and the process of collecting it is prone to error.

VRTherm is a software for thermodynamic and physical property prediction of mixtures making easy to build rigorous models in a fast and elegant way.

Data Bank

For the prediction of mixture properties VRTherm counts with a data bank with properties of almost 2000 compounds. This data includes most compounds found on the chemical and petrochemical industry.

Models

For the calculation of properties, VRTherm use a mix of correlations and equations of state. It follows the list of equations of state available:
